New York - #5 - Waiting for the train at the rail road

One thing my family use to do when walking to Central Park back then was to wait for the train to pass by at this location. Sometimes we missed it, but on the days that we didn’t, we would wave to the conductor and watch the train pass under us. Sometimes the conductor would actually respond by pulling the horn and waving back. And when we were lucky, sometimes my mom would buy us something at the store that’s right across the street from it. Unfortunately, this time around I wasn’t lucky. Maybe I’ll see the train on my way back.
